ScanJet 4200C/­Cse/­Cxi Lamp Control Update driver for HP Scanjet 4200cxi Scanner Type: Update This HP Scanning Software Update resolves problems seen with the HP ScanJet 4200C where the lamp does not turn off when the system is shut down,­ or when the scanner is inactive.­ After installing the update and restarting the system,­ the lamp will turn off on system shut down and after the scanner has been inactive for approximately 3 minutes.­ This update replaces the previous version of sj445xx.­exe,­ which did not work properly on some Windows 2000 systems or on Windows XP systems.­ Choose the file you want to download to your system.­ With your mouse,­ click on the file.­ In the 'save as' dialogue,­ you will be prompted to select the folder (subdirectory) where you want the file downloaded.­ Once the file is downloaded,­ click on the file,­ the software will decompress and then install automatically.­
